From Farm to Freight

How Every Shipment Gets to You

From farmer aggregation to export handover, every stage is built around consistency and trust.

The Process

Five Steps, Zero Compromise

Step 1

Aggregation

Produce is sourced from trusted farmers over a set period, building up volume until it matches confirmed order quantities.

Step 2

Warehousing

Aggregated produce is stocked in our warehouse while order quantities are finalised, ready for the next stage.

Warehousing
Step 3

Preservation Wash

For shipments travelling beyond Europe, produce is washed before packaging to extend freshness over the longer transit window.

Step 4

Sorting & Packaging

Produce is sorted by size and grade, then packaged for export from Ghana in 20kg and 25kg quantities to the buyer's specification, ahead of export handover.

Step 5

Export Handover

Packaged goods are handed to a licensed export agent, who manages port clearance, customs documentation, and onward shipping.

Freight Options

Sea Freight or Air Freight

We export on both sea and air routes. Which one suits an order comes down to two things: how much you are shipping, and how quickly you need it in the destination market.

Sea Freight

The standard route for full wholesale volumes. Transit takes longer, but the cost per kilo is lower. For shipments travelling beyond Europe, produce is washed before packaging to hold freshness across the longer window.

Air Freight

For smaller consignments and orders that need to arrive quickly. The cost per kilo is higher, but the shipment lands in days rather than weeks.

Tell us your quantity and the date you need the shipment to land, and we will advise which route works for the order.

Documentation

Every Shipment is Fully Documented

All Ghana yam export documentation is prepared as standard, including the phytosanitary certificate. Buyers receive everything needed for customs clearance in the destination market.

Phytosanitary Certificate

Issued by Ghana Plant Protection and Regulatory Services Division (PPRSD), confirming produce is free from pests and disease.

Certificate of Origin

Official documentation confirming the Ghanaian origin of all exported produce, required for customs clearance in destination markets.

Packing List & Commercial Invoice

Detailed shipment documentation covering product description, quantity, weight, and agreed pricing for each consignment.

Bill of Lading

Freight documentation issued by the shipping carrier, provided to the buyer for port collection and customs clearance.
